Building a Dignified Tomorrow for Burundi’s Elderly

Burundi Elderly Home Care (BEHC) is a non-profit, humanitarian, and non-political organization based in Bujumbura, Burundi. Founded in 2020 and officially licensed in 2025, BEHC is committed to protecting, empowering, and improving the lives of elderly people through care, advocacy, and community support.

Across Burundi, many elderly people face poverty, abandonment, illness, disability, and social exclusion. BEHC works to restore dignity, hope, and inclusion for older persons through home-based care, awareness programs, emergency support, and advocacy for elderly rights.
